THE ABEÏA APIARY

📍 Below the Prélongis chairlift, on the Snow Park site (near to the picnic tables)

OPENING : TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS FROM 9 JULY TO 15 AUGUST : AT 11AM AND 2PM
 

Visite accompagné du rucher Abeïa:

A lively and educational tour with a guide to help you learn the life of bees and take care of our environement.
Duration of visit 45 minutes to 1 hour, booking possible until 10pm the day before the visit.

Visting conditions :

If you want to visit the apiary with the guide, here are the OBLIGATORY conditions :

• wear TROUSERS to cover your legs from top to bottom
• wear CLOSED SHOES
• wear the Garment provided by the apiarist
• NO HAIRSPRAY or PERFUME
• No COLOURED clothes or bags
• PETS ARE NOT ACCEPTED, unless someone is looking after them outside the perimeter at the picnic tables.

Depending on the weather conditions, it may be impossible to approach the apiaries. In the case of a thunderstorm, for example, the visit may be cancelled. Stormy weather makes bees nervous.
Don't forget that these apiaries are the home of almost 200,000 bees !
