Discover the fascinating world of bees ! A lively, educational experience with a guide to help you discover the secrets of bees and take care of our environnement.

OBLIGATORY CONDITIONS FOR VISITS :

To ensure everyone's safety, we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone not complying with these conditions.

Here are the OBLIGATORY conditions for visiting the apiary in the company of the guide :

• wear TROUSERS to cover your legs from top to bottom
• wear CLOSED SHOES
• wear the GARMENT provided by the beekeeper
• NO HAIRSPRAY or PERFUME
• No COLOURED clothes or bags
• PETS ARE NOT ACCEPTED, unless someone is looking after them outside the perimeter.

Depending on the weather conditions, it may be impossible to approach the apiaries. In the case of a thunderstorm, for example, the visit may be cancelled. Stormy weather makes bees nervous.
Don't forget that these apiaries are the home of almost 200,000 bees !

HOW TO ACCES THE APIARY ?

The hives are located at the start of the drag lift Riou Sec.

To get there by chairlift : 

- Take the Prélongis chairlift from Les Orres 1650 snow front.

Pedestrian tickets can be purchased at the 1650 central ticket office on Les Orres 1650.

- When the chairlift arrives, head back down the green '' Fontaines '' ski run for around 900 m.

To get there on foot : 

- You can also get there on foot from the snow front Les Orres 1650, taking the green '' Fontaines skin run. Be careful, the climb is steep.
